The optimum choice of product will depend on reservoir permeability and temperature and the salinity of the injection brine.

Conformance Control Polymers
A range of polymers is available of low anionic character for use in Conformance Control. The products are of medium molecular weight and can be crosslinked in order to give a more resilient treatment.

Water Shut-Off
Low molecular weight Ciba® ALCOFLOOD® polymer is used to form firm, stable gels for water shut-off in oil production wells.
