Ciba® MAGNAFLOC® UMA polymers bring new standards to flocculant technology.
The unique molecular architecture of the polymer molecules gives faster settlement rates and a flocc structure that encourages optimum filtration with maximum dry cake solids. This gives the products excellent performance in both vacuum and pressure belt filtration processes.
Ciba® DRIMAX® surfactants may be added to slurry prior to filtration in order to wet out the particles and reduce surface tension, they encourage faster dewatering and low moisture content in dry cakes produced from very fine substrates.
