Ciba  has had a presence in Singapore since 1971. It is today the hub for a number of our regional activities in the Asia South region which comprises South East Asia, India subcontinent and Australia.

The regional activities that operate out of Singapore include sales & marketing, business and technical service support, and logistics management.

We have a technical service centre that supports the sales and promotion of coating effects in South East Asia and Australia. The centre offers application testing services to customers and appointed distributors for a complete product range of pigments and additives.

The office looks after core competency activities such as human resources, legal, facility management, IT services and corporate communications while the Business Support Centre is responsible for providing financial services in the areas of treasury, control and business analysis in South East Asia and Australia. Singapore is the Asia Pacific hub for the Global Information Services, providing IT applications and operations support to the whole region.

Located in Nordic European Centre of International Business Park, we have a staff strength of around 135.

In Jurong Island, we have kicked off the construction of an antioxidant manufacturing plant that will start production in early 2008. Utilizing state-of-the-art technology and innovative manufacturing processes, it will meet the rising demand of antioxidants in the fast growing polymer industry in Asia and the Middle East.
