We have a major Water Treatment production facility in Kwinana, Western Australia.

Following the acquisition of Allied Colloids in 1998, Ciba took over the site. The facility gave Water Treatment its presence as the only powder manufacturer in the Southern Hemisphere.

The main activities carried out on site include the production of ionic and non-ionic polymers – inverse emulsion and powder forms. The Kwinana site has well-equipped laboratories for process development, process control, quality control of finished product and product development. It is the main supply point for Water Treatment products throughout Australia.

The Kwinana site is a major business partner for the drilling, mining recovery and refining, waste treatment, paper and water treatment industries.

In addition to the Kwinana site, Ciba also has a small sales office based in Henderson Western Australia.
